art–MUS 2022 is back live!
The recognition and presence of authors on the art market, especially the domestic one, which is still developing, is of key importance for the establishment of contemporary art and, with it, sales opportunities. To this end, we started years ago with a project entitled art-MUS, the fundamental mission of which is to bring Slovenian fine art closer to top collectors and art lovers at home (and abroad) with innovative approaches, and to provide comprehensive services and a superior user experience with art.
The art fair art-MUS is being prepared this year for the eighth time in a row; it is about the promotion of many renowned Slovenian artists and the national promotion of contemporary Slovenian and also international visual arts.
In the period of COVID-19 between 2020 and 2021, we became "hybrid", as we also started conducting an online sales fair, which experienced great success and recognition. The online visit is excellent and active throughout the year at https://art-mus.si.
We are happy that after two years we are returning with a physical fair. This time, art–MUS will be held in Ljubljana for the first time, namely in the month of December, more precisely between December 6 and 16, 2022, in the Ajdovščina underpass on Slovenska cesta. It will be organized in the form of a relaxed get-together and supported by interesting professional-artistic discussions, with which we want to connect the visitors and the artists present. Works of art will of course also be available for purchase at the fair.
There has already been a lot of interest among visitors, buyers, as well as just the curious, who may be just comparing the prices of works of art or still thinking about buying, and with our involvement in Ljubljana, we hope for an even greater number of visits. The art-MUS art fair represents a very special innovation, as it is actually the only art fair that is also supported by the Ministry of Culture, in which over 100 renowned artists of all generations participate, and at the same time, we also invite experts from the art world to participate every year. areas. We believe that it is a project that gives priority to the popularity, likeability and, ultimately, the sale and thus the commercial value of the Slovenian cultural heritage, transferring it to an innovative format and thus enriching the basic gallery-museum offer and providing it with unimagined possibilities for future development.
